December 28 - No Scouts

There is no scouts scheduled for this week.

December 7 - Personal Management Merit Badge

Brother Zabel will be working on the Personal Merit Badge at the Church at 6:30.

Don't forget Friday we are going to see the lights at Temple Square. Leaving the Church no later than 6, so be there at 5:30!

November 23 - No Scouts

As a reminder there will be no scouts tonight due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Have a happy Turkey Day!!

Nov 16 - Who wants to be a Mormon?

We are meeting at the church for combined activity this month. We will be playing a game, "WHO WANTS TO BE A MORMON?"

Please bring between $0.25 and $1.00 in change to the church. Meet at 7.

November 9 - Lashings

We are meeting at the church at 7 pm to work on lashings. Those who started the physical fitness merit badge can meet with Mr. Hendry at the middle school at 6:30 for your preliminary fitness test.

October 12 - Cooking

We will be making home-made pizza at my house (Sullivan's) tonight at 7. Trying to assist with some basic cooking tips from Heather so our campouts are more YUMMY!

Combined hike

This week we will be hiking to stewart falls. We will be leaving the church at 6 o'clock so don't be late. Bring a water bottle and a small snack; eat dinner before you arrive!

Aug 3 - Games and Merit Badge Review

We are meeting at the church at 7 o'clock tonight to play some games and review what final requirements need to be completed for Citizenship in the Community, Communication, and any others boys are working on individually. See you there!!

July 27 - Art Gallery, T-shirt Printing

We are meeting at the church to visit Brent Haddock's t-shirt printing business and art shop...maybe not the artshop, it's messy right now. Meet at the church at 7 pm.

Dinner; Chili, noodles, soups. All should be dry pack add water. If we are lucky we will have fish as well

July 6 - Swimming

We will be swimming at the pool at Ranch Landing this coming Wednesday. Everyone be sure to bring a towel and come dressed in your swimming trunks! We will meet at the church at 6:30 sharp!

COMBINED ACTIVITY_ Bike ride down Provo Canyon, meet at the church with your bike, helmet, and water at 6:00 SHARP!!

June 8, Communications

Tonight we will be working on our communications merit badge. We will meet at the church at 7:00 PM and head over to the library. There we will use the computers to fulfill the following requirement:

"Create a web page or blog of special interest to you (for instance, your troop or crew, a hobby, or a sport).. Include at least three articles or entries and one photograph or illustration, and one link to some other Web page or blog that would be helpful to someone who visits the Web page or blog you have created. It is not necessary to post your Web page or blog to the Internet, but if you decide to do so, you must first share it with your parents and counselor and get their permission."

Blogs will be kept private initially so there will be no public dissemination of material. After they have met the requirements and I have viewed the blogs they can be deleted.

WEED CONTROL-SERVICE

Don't forget we are doing some weed control for the county in Wallsburg tonight! We are meeting at the Church at 5PM sharp! we will be marking noxious weeks for the county to come back later to clean up. SEE YOU THERE!

May 18 - Communications

We'll be working on our communications merit badge this Wednesday at the church at 7:00 pm.

Continually updating our blog

We will be making Jeremy, Zach, Trevor, and Garth Contributors to the blog so they can post items that need to be communicated to the troop.

REMEMBER THAT NEXT WEEKEND IS FATHER-SONS at Wasatch State Park.

Goblin Valley trip is rescheduled to the fall or next spring....:( sorry.

We are planning our meals Wednesday evening and going to the store to purchase. We'll meet Friday at the church to go up there. Stay posted for time.

This coming Saturday, May 7, and for Saturdays after that the scouts will be performing service for the Bountiful Baskets at Spensko's. Please be sure to encourage your scouts to attend so they can fulfill their 8 hours of community service needed for the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge!
